Teen Mania
1986 - 1989
The Early Years
In 1988 Teen Mania Ministries was founded in Tulsa, Oklahoma by Ron and Katie Luce. The next summer, 60 teenagers went on the first Teen Mania missions trip to Guatemala. In the fall of 1988, the internship started with a class of six participants. At the time, the internship was called "Leadership 20/20".

1990 - 1994
The Season of ATF
The first Acquire the Fire convention took place in the fall of 1991. Over the years, ATF has grown to reach hundreds of thousands of teenagers each year.

1995 - 1998
The Move
On Labor Day Weekend, 1996, Teen Mania Ministries moved from Tulsa, Oklahoma to Garden Valley, Texas.

1999 - 2001
New Chapter
April 14 & 15, 1999 was the weekend of Teen Mania's first dome event, "Day One". Over 75,000 teenagers packed the Silverdome in Pontiac, MI. A year later, in April 2000, Teen Mania had it's second dome event, "StandUP" at the Silverdome. In the summer of 2000 we saw over 5000 teenagers go on missions trips to over 32 countries worldwide. In March 2001, Teen Mania hosted a dome event at Tropicana Field in Florida. One out of every 48 teenagers in the state of Florida attended "StandUP Florida". Teen Mania also started a music label and a weekly television show for teenagers.
